I studied marine biology at University and then made the slightly less known transition to accountancy. I went from thermohaline circulation to accumulated depreciation shortly after I graduated, started with BDO in Southampton, qualified in 2007 and landed in Jersey in 2010.

I look after a spectrum of clients in all different shapes and sizes. I help with their accounts and tax returns and anything else they need help with.

I love our work ethic at PKF bba, we’re a dynamic and progressive bunch of people who are genuinely keen to help our clients get the best out of their businesses.

I’m also on the PKF bba Business Solutions Committee and am the training Partner at PKF bba. I’ve had lots of commercial roles in the UK, including one with an aeronautical engineering company, a law firm, the public sector and other commerce and industry roles.

I’ve held a lot of financial management positions so if I were to have an area of expertise I’d say that would be it! I love helping clients make plans for the future and seeing those plans come to fruition; often on the back of a spreadsheet we’ve created together!

Hobbies

Before moving to Jersey I spent a lot of time on the rugby pitch and played hockey for the county. I have two boys and we’re real Island beach-bums. We love paddle boarding and being outside.
